Optical Precision, Pure and Vivid Imagery

Featuring 2 ASPH., 3 high-index, and 3 ED elements, along with a floating element design to minimize chromatic aberration and distortion even at f/1.4. The lens delivers edge-to-edge sharpness and resolves fine detail even on 60MP sensors.

With its f/1.4 aperture, the lens excels in low light and creates smooth transitions between highlights and shadows. Precision-crafted aspherical elements eliminate distracting “onion ring” and “donut” bokeh, ensuring a clean image. The 14-blade cinema-grade aperture produces beautifully rounded, dreamy bokeh that adds an artistic and unique touch to the images.

The f/1.4 aperture offers a shallow depth of field that mimics the natural separation of the human eye at medium distances. At its minimum focusing distance of 0.23m, it achieves bokeh effects comparable to those of a 50mm f/1.4 lens at 0.55m. The near-90°diagonal field of view further enhances the sense of space in landscape photography and delivers strong visual impact. Whether capturing environmental portraits, close-up details, or sweeping vistas, this lens offers an immersive visual experience, adding narrative depth to every frame.

Weighing only 428g, the Simera 21mm f/1.4 is the lightest in its category, offering an exceptional balance between performance and portability.
The specially designed ultra-wide lens hood allows quick mounting and folding, offering a smooth and comfortable handling experience.

Simera Series FAQ

Which models of UV filters are compatible with Simera series lenses?

The Simera 28/35/50mm lenses are compatible with φ49mm UV filters. When both the lens hood and the UV filter are installed, they can be compatible with thin UV filters with a maximum diameter of 51.4mm, such as the "MC UV series" of MECO. The Simera 75mm lens is compatible with φ58mm UV filters and allows to install mainstream UV filters together with the lens hood.

Can the focus tab of Simera series be disassembled?

The focus tab cannot be disassembled. Since disassembling or assembling the focus tab involves the internal structure, it may damage the lens.

Do Simeralenses have electronic contacts?

There are no electroniccontacts on Simera lenses. They are manual lenses.

How to adjust the stepped or stepless aperture function on Simera lenses?

When the lens is installed on the camera, toggle the block on the front of the lens. Toggle to the left, a moon symbol represents the lens is stepless ; and a sun symbol represents stepped aperture if toggling to the right.

How to convert the format when Simera lenses are used on APS-C cameras?

The equivalent focal length = the focal length of the lens × the conversion coefficient. For example, when a 50mm lens is used on an APS-C camera, the actual perspective obtained is 50mm × the format conversion coefficient of APS-C cameras. Usually, the conversion coefficient of Sony and Nikon cameras is 1.5, and that of Canon cameras is 1.6.
