Simera series lenses add more options in different mount system, making them versatile in Sony E Mount, Nikon Z Mount, Fujifilm X Mount, Canon RF Mount, Lecia M Mount as well as Canon cameras.

  • Excellent close-up funtion: The Simera 28mm redefines environmental portraiture with its balance of creamy bokeh, natural tones, and cinematic depth. Featuring a 14-blade diaphragm for rounded highlights and artistic starbursts, along with a 0.4m minimum focus distance, it captures both expansive scenes and intimate details.
  • Minimum focal length: The camera lens includes 1 aspherical element, 1 extra-low dispersion (ED) element, and 3 high-refractive-index (HRI) elements, paired with a floating lens group to deliver unparalleled sharpness from infinity to its 0.4m minimum focusing distance. A tactile resistance point at 0.7 meters on the focus ring alerts users to switch from rangefinder coupling to EVF focusing.
  • Simple operation: Manual focus, precisely capturing every nuance within the frame. Infinity-lock Tab: Enhances stability by preventing lens rotation during installation, ensuring secure handling. Crescent-shaped Tab: Ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip, enabling smooth, single-finger focusing for seamless operation.
  • Mastering Light and Depth of Field: F1.4 is a large aperture that allows a substantial amount of light to reach the sensor. The lens creates an extremely shallow depth of field, and the background blur (commonly referred to as "bokeh" in photography) helps highlight the subject more effectively. The full-frame design meets the demands of portraiture, street photography, night scenes, and more.

The build quality is great. The style wonderfully retro. The DOF indicator is cool. And the vintage vibe images awesome. I love it!

Love it. The quality of the images I got from the Thypoch is much better than I had imagined, even when I wasn't at my best in setting the right exposure.
The lens itself is very well made, a joy to use.
Am thinking of having a smaller body to fit this in as my ZF is a wee bit heavy for this.

When both the lens hood and the UV filter are installed, they can be compatible with thin UV filters with a maximum diameter of 51.4mm, such as the "MC UV series" of MECO. The Simera 75mm lens is compatible with φ58mm UV filters and allows to install mainstream UV filters together with the lens hood.

There are no electronic contacts on Simera lenses. They are manual lenses.

How to adjust the stepped or stepless aperture function on Simera lenses?

When the lens is installedon the camera, toggle the block on the front of the lens. Toggle to the left, amoon symbol represents the lens is stepless ; and a sun symbol represents steppedaperture if toggling to the right.

How to convert the format when Simera lenses are used on APS-C cameras?

The equivalent focal length = the focal length of the lens × the conversion coefficient. For example, when a 50mm lens is used on an APS-C camera, the actual perspective obtained is 50mm × the format conversion coefficient of APS-C cameras. Usually, the conversion coefficient of Sony and Nikon cameras is 1.5, and that of Canon cameras is 1.6.
