Eureka Series

The Eureka series, inspired by the ancient Greek scholar Archimedes, celebrates a sudden discovery or enlightenment. Unlike the Simera series, which means "today" in Greek, Eureka is a new collection designed specifically for exploring vintage imagery styles.

The Eureka series stands out as a vintage camera lens in today's standardized optics world. Drawing inspiration from classic designs across different eras, it transforms your photography into timeless artistic expression.

Back to theOriginal Aspirationof the Full-frame

The liberation of photography began with an inspiration to fit a camera loaded with 35mm film into one's pocket.

In 1925, the first commercial 35mm camera was introduced, paired with the first collapsible 50mm lens, instantly ending the century-long burden of cumbersome plate cameras. Countless individuals pocketed this exquisitely compact combination and took it into the streets, warzones, and corners of the world to capture unique impressions of their epoch.

The Eureka 50mm honors the spirit of 35mm photography with its iconic collapsible design inspired by 1950s vintage camera lenses. This compact lens blends analog charm with contemporary optical performance, perfect for street photography and everyday carry.

Robust CompanionInspiration Capture

Compact in structure, the Eureka 50mm measures only 2.7cm when collapsed and extends to 4.12cm during use, making it a portable companion designed for wandering artists.

Its vintage-inspired retractable aluminum alloy construction combines lightweight durability with rugged reliability, performing flawlessly in temperatures from -30°C to +70°C - perfect for capturing moments in the most extreme environments.

Modern Vision with Cinematic Nostalgia

Eureka 50mm blends contemporary coating technologies with the allure of retro optical structures, creating a harmonious symphony of vintage charm and remarkable precision.

Through carefully engineered multi-layer coatings, this vintage photo lens recreates the enchanting flares and organic look of classic optics while delivering exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness, vivid colors, and rich tonal gradations.

Golden Focal LengthUnbounded Interpretation

The retro 50mm focal length, beloved by legendary photographers, offers a natural perspective that mirrors human vision.

From close-up portraits and documentary storytelling to natural landscapes, this lens helps photographers capture everyday moments with creative flair.

Luminous ReverieDreamlike Immersion

Fearlessly embrace low-light environments with the maximum f/2 aperture of the Eureka 50mm lens. Its shallow depth of field paints delicate and soft bokeh, seamlessly transitioning between in-focus and out-of-focus areas.

With a 12-blade aperture diaphragm, the lens guarantees circular and aesthetically pleasing bokeh, creating a dreamy and poetic atmosphere.

Optical Precisionin Every Detail

Blending classic aesthetics with modern engineering, this lens delivers edge-to-edge clarity and pristine details with stable shutter speeds, perfect for both analog and digital photography.

Featuring a 6-element, 4-group typical double-gauss optical design, the Eureka 50mm incorporates cutting-edge optics. An extra-low dispersion (ED) element effectively minimizes chromatic aberration, while a high refractive index (HRI) element corrects curvature of field and spherical aberrations.

For me one of the travel lenses: extremely compact, easy to use with an unbelievable image quality at a really affordable price.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

Customer photo review of Eureka-50mm F2.0

It’s a very nice and compact lens. The bokeh is beautiful and distinctive, and the sharpness is good. Extending and retracting the lens is not always completely smooth, and it’s also quite disappointing that the aperture ring is not click-stopped. As a result, you sometimes accidentally change the aperture while focusing, which is very inconvenient. It’s also a shame that standard filters cannot be mounted on the lens. On the other hand, a UV filter is included, which is a nice bonus.Focusing is smooth, and although I was initially concerned about the infinity lock, it works perfectly fine. That said, I personally wouldn’t have minded if it had been left off altogether.

I like the look and style of that lens, it makes a lot of fun to take photos with this lens and additional it looks very stylish on my Leica M EV1.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

Customer photo review of Eureka-50mm F2.0

Great lens for the price. It‘s light and surprisingly sharp, even wide open. The option to collapse the lens is great. I only wished it had a clickable aperture ring then it would be perfect.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

Customer photo review of Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

It’s a beautifully designed lens with a certain vintage charm, especially when you use it with cameras that bring this retro design back to life. It makes you feel closer to classic photography. The bokeh could be more distinctive.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

The manual is not thorough I had difficulties operating the lens at first. It would not take images. However, after so much setting searching I managed to operate. The manual does not detail operating steps. Also no enough videos are available online nor on the website

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

I had been looking for a pancake lens to pair with my ZF and the Eureka 28mm compliments well the retro design of the camera. It performs really well and the light nibble I flaw is the really strong vignetting (it's minor because easily fixed in post).

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

Tack sharp from wide open! Only one dissatisfied point is… actual pan-focusing zone seems to be… a little bit narrower than the lens markers. Others will be good.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

Delivery got delayed, but.... the lens is a beauty !! I just love the way it looks so premium !! Didn't use it a lot yet, the initial photos looked amazing - I couldn't be happier

Eureka 28mm f/2.8

The focus tab is very easy and fast way to focus. Once you master how to focus images are sharp. I like the small size of the lens, too. Perhaps only complaint is the lens cap. Since it doesn't screw or clip it could easily fall off and lose. Aperture ring is small by design. No real complaint there. Version 2 could have clicked apertures, tho. Overall I find the lens a joy to take photos with.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

Arrived quickly with no issues. Nicely packaged and the lens is very well made. I haven’t made any images yet but looking forward to it.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 M Mount Pancake Lens

The wait was totally worth it. This lens is incredibly compact—it’s almost like a body cap when mounted on the camera. Carrying it around all day for street photography is effortless, making it perfect for travel and daily documentation. Compared to my previous 28mm lens, this one is lighter and more convenient.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 Pancake Lens

Despite its small size, it has a decent minimum focusing distance, allowing you to shoot close-up details like coffee and small street objects. Its shooting flexibility exceeds my expectations.

Eureka 28mm f/2.8 Pancake Lens

It‘a a beauty and the pictures are sharp and crisp. People ask you, what lens it is, when they see it 🤗

Eureka 28mm f/2.8

Great solidly built lens . Optics render beautifully

Eureka 28mm f/2.8

Happy with the images this lens makes. Its build quality is also satisfying. I am looking forward to the new Eureka 28mm f2.8.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

Very compact, great feel on the camera, the reviews of this lens are right on the money - it is exactly what I was looking for.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

Nice lettle lens. Only negativ point: you have to turn the camera to read the apperture....

Eureka 28mm f/2.8

Doesn’t work as described.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

If it had threads for filters and a hood it would have been perfect.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

Customer photo review of Eureka-50mm F2.0

The lens is everything I hoped it would be and it looks great adapted my Sony rangefinder style cameras. Don't ever change the focus lock like you have with the Simera models. I probably would have bought one of those as well if you still had the original design available. Don't ever take it off this one.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

The price and shipping are the best. If you want thypoch lenses, buy them here. They are the best.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

This lens is perfect for creating vintage-style photos. I love it.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

I love using this lens! I was drawn in by the vintage aesthetic.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

The lens definitely has a unique rendition and I love it. However, the quality control could have been bettered. The first copy I got has a bit loud focusing noise and the second copy I received has a bit imperfection on the surface coating. For a lens at this price and with such elegant design, you’d expecting state of art build quality, which might still be a bit lacking at this moment.

Eureka-50mm F2.0

This lens is so perfect, it was worth waiting so long for, very compact and silky smooth operation.
