In fast-paced or handheld shooting, especially when paired with follow focus systems, this can lead to instability and lens movement.
The Thypoch M-mount adapter features a dual-locking system that combines an positive lock with a secondary safety lock. This ensures the lens stays firmly in place, even during complex setups and rapid camera movements, giving creators the confidence and freedom to focus fully on their craft.

With a short flange distance of just 27.8mm, the Leica M-mount offers exceptional adaptability. Thypoch adapters cover a wide range of mounts including M-E, L, Z, RF, and ARRI, supporting multi-system use from mirrorless cameras to professional cinema rigs. They easily fit major mirrorless systems like Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, as well as cinema cameras such as RED and ARRI.
Thypoch adapters fully support all Thypoch M-mount lenses, including the Simera-C, Simera and Eureka series, and are compatible with most M-mount lenses available. This allows classic lenses to integrate seamlessly into modern cinematic workflows. Compact Setup, Enhanced Mobility
The compact design of the M system makes M mount lenses smaller and lighter than many modern cinema lenses. For example, the Simera-C T1.5 M-mount lenses weigh only 353–472g, and when paired with the Thypoch positive-lock adapter (75–94g), the total setup is far lighter than a typical PL system, which weighs around 1300–1800g (lens + adapter).
